Chiropractor – Superior & Louisville, Colorado
Welcome to our 100% Chiropractic office servicing Louisville & Superior, Colorado. Unlike most health providers, who’s aim is to treat symptoms and get you to where you were just before you needed help, the direction of our chiropractic care is to address the underlying issue(s), so your brain and body can adapt to the demands of life, allowing you to function at your best.
Our Louisville chiropractors focus on correcting the structure of the spine. Think of your spine as the foundation for a building. If the foundation is off, you expect the floors to creak, the walls to crack, and for the windows and doors to open or close with less ease.
You can spend time patching the damage, but you would be doing so with the expectation that soon after, the problems will need to be repaired again and again. Rather than constantly repairing damage by treating patients only when they feel pain or discomfort, we focus on fixing the underlying shifts in your body’s foundation and help you reach normal structure. While no one is structurally perfect, there is a normal healthy range. In the same way, we can understand when someone has a fever because we know what an ideal normal temperature is, or what constitutes high blood pressure because we are aware of the ideal normal range. There is an established “normal” everywhere we look, including gauges and warning indicators on the dashboard of your car; all letting you know when things are abnormal.
The Chiropractors at 100% Chiropractic are looking for significant Primary Shifts of the spine away from normal. If the head and neck shifts, it will cause the shoulders to twist, and the hips to shift, forcing the entire spine out of alignment. These Primary Shifts cause the muscles to spasm and the ligaments to deform which then disrupts the nerves traveling from the brain through the spinal cord and spinal nerves which lead to every part of your body. In other words, the main communication system that connects your brain to your body can be obstructed. This nerve obstruction placed on your spinal cord and/or spinal nerves is called Subluxation. It’s the combination of these Primary Shifts and Subluxation that cause Secondary Conditions, also known as Symptoms. Our goal is always to restore the structural integrity of the spine.
How We Help Our Patients
One of the many things we love about Colorado is its far-reaching commitment to wellness. People take advantage of the beautiful weather and the mountain playground to have fun, connect with family and friends, and stay healthy. Coloradans know what it means to live 100%.
Life is best when it’s lived at 100%, and we do our best to help you find your optimum health so you can take advantage of everything life has to offer.
At our 100% Chiropractic, we’re committed to your 100%. The health of the entire body begins in the spine, and regular chiropractic care helps keep you aligned and at your best. Here are just a few of the reasons our patients come to see us in addition to routine wellness visits:
- Back pain
- Leg Pain
- Hip Pain
- Neck pain
- Joint pain & inflammation
- Herniated Discs
- Sciatica Pain Treatment
- Headaches and migraines
- Weakened immunity
- Sleep disturbances
- Prenatal discomfort
- Accident recovery
Even the healthiest individual has set-backs. Whether it’s an accident or allergies, little irritations can take us further away from the 100% we desire for our lives. No matter what symptoms are impacting your health, we offer specific services to best suit your individual needs:
- Pediatric Chiropractic Care: Babies need adjustments, too! Birth is very strenuous on the spine and nervous system of the baby as well as the mother, and by correcting the subluxations as soon as possible, you help the child prevent future imbalances and any issues that may result from those imbalances.
- Prenatal Chiropractic Care: Your chiropractor in Superior is skilled at adjusting various populations, including expectant mothers. Regular care can help relieve some of the discomfort associated with pregnancy and help you prepare for a healthy labor and delivery.
- Massage Therapy: Massage, paired with chiropractic services is another wonderful treatment designed to help you live at 100%! Massage therapy works well with chiropractic care: when the muscles are relaxed, the entire system is easier to adjust and more responsive to those adjustments.
Our focus is on corrective care for people of all ages. We want to relieve your symptoms so you can live more comfortably, and then we want to help you maintain and improve upon that new standard of wellness. Using chiropractic x-rays to monitor your progress, we work to restore the healthy, natural curves in your spine, adjustment by gentle adjustment.

Dr. Michael Tinkey,
Superior, Colorado Chiropractor
Dr. Michael throughout his whole life was passionate about helping people and knew he wanted to somehow serve in the field of healthcare. His first choice was in the realm of pharmacy which he worked as a pharmacy technician working his way through his pre-pharmacy college courses. During that time, he was also suffering greatly from severe headaches and migraines with nausea and vomiting which were just getting progressively worse. The prescription medications he was taking were only barely covering-up the symptoms, never actually getting rid of his headaches or migraines. Dr. Michael had always considered himself to be a healthy individual, exercised and ate right regularly, but was extremely frustrated as to why he was having such a debilitating condition. A close friend of his convinced him to see a chiropractor to help him with his headaches and migraines. Though skeptical, he followed through with his recommended chiropractic care, and within a couple short months saw a dramatic decrease in frequency and intensity of his headaches and migraines, ultimately being able to reduce the medications he was taking. Dr. Michael realized that chiropractic care resonated more so with his own personal philosophy of what true healthcare should be, discontinued the pharmacy program, and applied to chiropractic college. Beyond doing what he loves as a Superior chiropractor, Dr. Michael keeps active outside his office by spending time with his wife, Marta, and their new baby, as well as playing golf, getting involved with his church, enjoying time with family and friends, and living his life to the fullest at 100%!
Dr. Michael Tinkey graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the prestigious Life University in 2007, which during his last year he felt he wanted to give back to Life University by serving as a Student Ambassador, helping prospective students with the transition into the chiropractic college. Beyond the required Life University’s Clinic internship, Dr. Michael had been selected for two additional distinguished internships. The first internship was providing chiropractic care at The Extension, a mens alcohol and drug rehab facility, which allowed Dr. Michael a unique opportunity to witness first-hand the positive effects of chiropractic with those experiencing withdrawal from alcohol and/or drugs. Dr. Michael’s final internship involved him traveling abroad to Zigong, a large industrial city in the Sichuan Province of China, for three months where he served at Zigong’s largest hospital introducing chiropractic to an already accepting natural healthcare culture with tremendous results.
I walked into the 100%- Superior office one year ago in September out of desperation after countless visits to conventional doctors, misdiagnosis, and ineffective pharmaceutical remedies. For the last 4 months I was dealing with daily symptoms that were greatly reducing my quality of life. I had chronic headaches, blurred vision, major photophobia, fatigue, neck pain, and muscle tension.I would never have sick leave built up, posture was very poor, I would drink more coffee then water, and I did not know what nutritious really meant; I knew it was time for a change. I started seeing Dr. Tinkey and from the very first evaluation I knew I was onto something, something that made sense, aimed at prevention rather than cure. I began adjustments and weekly massages and in just a few months I REALLY started noticing the changes in not just my symptoms but my daily choices!!!! I invested the last year of my life to creating the health I wanted for ME, altering my diet, focusing on exercise, greatly increasing my water intake, and taking the necessary steps to insure that my health would not hold me back from enjoying everything life has to offer!!! Seeking treatment from 100% has really changed my life and Dr.Tinkey has been there with me every step of the way, any questions I had about my health he would answer with completeness and accuracy. When you are cared for by a Doctor that has just as much concern for your health as you do, the results can be life changing!! Thank you 100% as i would have not made it this far without you!!- Erik L.
Meet our dedicated team!
Marta Tinkey – Office Manager
Hi, my name is Marta. Although I’m relatively new to Colorado, it feels like home! I’ve been a chiropractic patient since early high school but never realized chiropractic care’s full potential until receiving regular chiropractic adjustments throughout my pregnancy to keep me pain-free, as well as prepare me for our natural home birth. Our beautiful daughter, Amelia, received her first gentle chiropractic adjustment only 12 minutes after her birth to help her start her new life in the best way possible. In my spare time, I love to run, read, and explore gorgeous Colorado with my family.
I graduated from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago with a master’s degree in Chinese Medicine. After graduation, I spent some time in China doing an Acupuncture internship in Beijing. I took a job in Joliet, Illinois as an acupuncturist where I met Dr. Michael. The rest, as they say, is history. I’ve always been focused on health and wellness, and try to encourage everyone to try a natural approach prior to pursuing the medical route. I look forward to helping you and your family start on a journey to improve health and wellness!
Brenda – Chiropractic Assistant
Hello! I’m Brenda, a new Chiropractic Assistant at 100%. I need to start off by telling you that this is the best job ever! I have found my home away from home. Dr. Michael & Marta are so welcoming, and empowering. Their passion to treat & educate patients as well as help them achieve wellness is contagious! I am so excited to be part of this practice! The fact that they have 2 adorable children helps too! I enjoy working in the upbeat and positive environment and hearing patients talk about how great they feel, and what they are able to do, because they started getting chiropractic care. I am also benefiting from Dr. Michaels treatment and cannot wait to start riding bikes with my family and taking long car trips without low back or neck pain.
I am a Colorado native. I have a MA in Recreation Administration and Therapeutic Recreation. I worked for the Boulder Parks & Recreation EXPAND program as well as the Association for Community Living for many years before having children. My passion in life was to help people with developmental disabilities discover their purpose and help improve their quality of life. That passion has rolled over to this job. I have learned so much, and I try to let others know about the benefits of chiropractic treatments as much as I can!
My husband Gary & I live in Louisville. We have 4 boys, ages, 16, 15, 13 and a 2 yr old Sheepadoodle. We spend our nights and weekends coaching/cheering from the sidelines for swimming, soccer and basketball. Gary & I are also very involved in World Wide Marriage Encounter, and we volunteer many hours at our church and kids’ schools.
I look forward to seeing you in the office!
