My name is Katie Potts and I am a registered dietitian. I graduated from Ouachita Baptist University and completed my dietetic internship at Iowa State University. I developed my passion for nutrition and a healthy lifestyle after I was diagnosed with hypoglycemia my senior year of high school. This means my blood sugar often stays low and can drop too low, causing dizziness, light-headedness, fatigue, blackouts, mood swings, shakiness, and even passing out (which I did often). So I started doing my research and began to change my eating and exercise habits. All of my symptoms went away! No more passing out, fatigue, dizziness, or blacking out! Food had forever changed my life and I realized I wanted everyone to feel as strong and healthy as I did, so I became a registered dietitian. Getting the proper nutrition can help if you’re having issues with weight, allergies, thyroid issues, you want off your medications, diabetes, GI issues, headaches/migraines, skin issues, or any other health concern. My classes consist of generalized information about protein, fats, and carbohydrates. These classes will help you understand how these macronutrients work in your body and how to read food labels to make the best decision when shopping.

Half hour individualized sessions will cover protein, fats, and carbohydrates on a personalized level. You will get your specific nutrient needs for each macronutrient.

One hour individual sessions will cover protein, fats, complex and simple carbohydrates, hydration and supplementation on an individualized level. You will get your specific nutrient needs for each macronutrient and supplementation needs.

  • January 5th, February 9th, March 9th-all start at 7:30pm EST. (valued at $300)
