My name is Katie Potts and I am a registered dietitian. I graduated from Ouachita Baptist University and completed my dietetic internship at Iowa State University. I developed my passion for nutrition and a healthy lifestyle after I was diagnosed with hypoglycemia my senior year of high school. This means my blood sugar often stays low and can drop too low, causing dizziness, light-headedness, fatigue, blackouts, mood swings, shakiness, and even passing out (which I did often). So I started doing my research and began to change my eating and exercise habits. All of my symptoms went away! No more passing out, fatigue, dizziness, or blacking out! Food had forever changed my life and I realized I wanted everyone to feel as strong and healthy as I did, so I became a registered dietitian. Getting the proper nutrition can help if you’re having issues with weight, allergies, thyroid issues, you want off your medications, diabetes, GI issues, headaches/migraines, skin issues, or any other health concern. Let me help you feel your best again!
