Elma is a passionate Yoga, Pilates and Barre instructor from Athens, Greece. She has completed her 500 hour Yoga teacher training in Greece and since then she does one teacher training every year, because she believes that you never stop learning and always take the opportunity to learn something new. Five years ago she moved to Los Angeles and continued her training in Pilates Mat & Ball and Barre and did her Ashtanga teacher training with Tim Miller. Elma teaches Vinyasa yoga, Ashtanga yoga, Power Yoga, Pre & Post-Natal Yoga, Pilates mat and Barre. Through her 15-year ballet career, she learned the importance of connecting with and loving your body and believing in yourself. Her goal is to pass these values to her students. Elma’s classes are challenging, physically and mentally and always help her students reach their maximum potential, and then exceed it.

VINYASA YOGA

In this class students synchronize movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next. Every class is different and is given a variety of poses. It helps with developing a strong and flexible body, improving the posture, lowering stress and calming the mind. It’s an all-level class, from beginners to advance practitioners, since it’s given different variations for each pose.

PILATES

Pilates is a form of low-impact exercise that aims to strengthen muscles while improving postural alignment and flexibility. All exercises are on the mat with no extra equipment. This class is a strengthening and lengthening form of exercise that focuses on your core muscles (power house) while also training your arms and legs. It’s an all-level class that also improves the body-mind awareness.

BARRE

Barre class is a hybrid workout, combining ballet-inspired poses with elements of Pilates, dance, and yoga with upbeat music. It blends cardio, strength training, flexibility, balance, and core conditioning in a total body workout incorporating isometric holds and high repetition of small range-of-motion movements. You do not have to purchase any materials for this class!
