Dr. William Bevis was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida and the families of he and his wife, Lauren, have been deeply rooted in the community for many generations. As the leading chiropractors in Tallahassee, they’re both passionate about bringing the message and benefits of a healthy lifestyle centered around principled chiropractic care back to their hometown.
Dr. Bevis earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the renowned Life University College of Chiropractic, graduating Valedictorian of his class. While in school, he received special training that has afforded him the ability to provide the highest quality care to athletes, geriatrics, pediatrics, as well as pregnant women. Dr. Bevis has extensive post-graduate training and has obtained Certified Advanced Proficiency in the most specific, scientific chiropractic techniques in the world. These techniques provide patients of any age with the most gentle, safe, and reproducible care possible.
Prior to attending Life University, he earned an Associate in Arts degree from Tallahassee Community College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Florida State University. (Go ‘Noles!)
Dr. Bevis is also a lecturer in the community at various networks, businesses, churches, and health & wellness events with the purpose of promoting the life we were all designed to live. Through these speaking opportunities, it is his goal to share the necessary knowledge so the people of Tallahassee can gain awareness and a true understanding of how to reach their maximum health potential in a natural way.
Dr. Adam Malick is a chiropractor on a mission to change the face of health in North Florida and help create one of the healthiest communities in the world right here in our hometown, Tallahassee. He is committed and determined to team up with you to fight for your health and give you the confidence you need to get to the next level in any arena of your life.
I always wanted to go into a field where I could help people, and when I graduated from Florida State University in 2005 with a biology degree, I thought I was going to be a medical doctor. It wasn’t until I met my future uncle-in-law, a chiropractor, that I was introduced to chiropractic and the amazing healing ability that is in all of us. Once I started getting adjusted regularly, I noticed that I could move and breathe more easily, and that my lifelong seasonal allergies were almost completely gone. Learning about chiropractic and experiencing its benefits firsthand helped me to realize that this is the work I was born to do.
I quit my job in finance and entered New York Chiropractic College. When I graduated in 2012, my wife Alex and I decided to move back to my hometown of Toronto, where I established a wellness family chiropractic center with a focus on pregnancy and pediatrics. Imagine preventing your kids from having the same problems that you are experiencing today. All three of my children — Everett, Ian, and Savannah — have been adjusted since birth and aren’t just surviving but thriving.
We have now happily made the move back to Tallahassee and I look forward to making it my home again and serving this amazing community. Having played a lot of sports growing up, I like to move and stay as active as possible, so you will often find me running or biking around town.
Dr. Max Rock was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico and raised in Gilbert, Arizona. Dr. Rock earned his Doctor of Chiropractic as well as his Masters in Sports Health Science (MSHS) from Life University College of Chiropractic graduating with magna cum laude honors. While in school and through the master’s program, he spent over a year working with athletes from both Life University and Kennesaw State University, NAIA and Division 1 NCAA respectively, on a weekly basis helping them maintain health and recovery from injury. After graduation, Dr. Rock attended Animal Chiropractic School to receive his animal chiropractic certification with the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA) giving him the tools to provide chiropractic care for both large and small animals.
Dr. Rock used to work at a construction company coordinating with job sites in the United States and software implementation specialists in India. While working construction, Dr. Rock realized that he cared more about how the people on the jobsite were doing rather than how the building was being built. Shortly after, he decided to pursue his passion in helping people live a happier and healthier lives through chiropractic. Prior to attending Life University, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Associate Degrees in Mathematics, Biology, and Spanish from Northern Arizona University (NAU). After graduating from NAU, he spent six months traveling through Central and South America by working various jobs including guiding horse tours in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica. Growing up Dr. Rock was an adrenaline seeker and naturally took up sports such as skydiving and racing quads. In high school he wrestled, played football, and was on the swim and dive team. Dr. Rock enjoyed to work with passions even in his early years where he became a lifeguard and swim coach for his local community and worked at the golf course where he fell in love with the game. Dr. Rock is committed to making a positive impact on his community and helping facilitate healthy lifestyle choices so that every individual can comfortably pursue their physical and mental goals from carrying groceries and reducing stress to reaching peak performance in a desired sport.
