Hello there! I'm Dr Paul Peterson. I come from a small town called Ojai, CA. My journey in chiropractic began as a patient on the table. I couldn't walk for many years of my youth due a degenerative bone condition. By the time I was 22 I had both of my hips replaced. The surgeries allowed me to walk again, and physical therapy helped me rehab from the effects of the surgery, but I still had back pain, a limp, and poor functional movements due to years of compensation. I started searching for answers to these limitations and found chiropractic. After several months of care I was pain free, moving great, and doing all of the sports and activities I thought I would never be able to do again.

As a chiropractor I have over a decade of experience and 50,000 office visits under my belt. I am experienced in sports rehabilitation and have been the chiropractor for a professional lacrosse team. I enjoy treating all patients; from kids to elderly, prenatal, athletes, and everything in between. I also am a board certified chiropractic neurologist and have experience with concussion, vertigo, chronic pain syndrome, and much more.

A standard care plan with me usually includes adjustments, muscle work, stretching, movement coaching, and some dry humor. I also like to utilize nutrition and laser therapy.

I am a new father of a baby boy, I have 6 step kids, and a super hero wife. In my spare time (what's that?) I enjoy running, yoga, golf, the ocean, backpacking new mountains, international travel, and being a foodie.

I also speak Spanish.
