Welcome!

Dr. Darby Thomas, D.C.

chiropractor Lakewood, CODr. Darby Thomas is a chiropractor in Lakewood CO who serves patients in both Lakewood, Belmar and the surrounding areas.

Since childhood, Dr. Darby has known that she wanted to be a doctor and care for others. While attending Clemson University as a biological sciences major, she was awakened to the problems in today’s sick care model, and decided to rethink what kind of doctor she wanted to be. She was fortunate to live close to Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic and grow up in a family under chiropractic care. After working in a local chiropractic office, she knew that joining the greatest profession in the world was the right step and has never looked back. Dr. Darby is thrilled to have the opportunity to live in Colorado and provide safe, effective Lakewood chiropractic care to the community.

Dr. Darby seeks to improve her chiropractic patients’ health and wellness in all areas of their lives. Dr. Darby likes to treat the “whole person” in her work as a chiropractor, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, which usually arise from imbalances in the spinal column. Under Dr. Darby’s supervision and care, patients report less pain and higher functioning in all areas of their lives.

Dr. Darby’s mission as a chiropractor here is to live at 100% in both health and life. She will constantly enlighten and challenge you to pursue your health goals so that you will achieve abundant health for you and your family.

Dr. Darby is always expanding her education and knowledge in chiropractic care by attending seminars and education classes every year. In her free time, Dr. Darby enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling with her husband, Brian, and daughter, Collins in the beautiful outdoors of Colorado.

Dr. Annie Wood, D.C. | Associate Chiropractor

chiropractor Lakewood, CO Specializing in whole family chiropractic, prenatal chiropractic utilizing the Webster Technique, as well as functional neurology with a special interest in childhood development disorders.

Dr. Annie (Shauna) Wood always knew that she wanted to be in a profession where she would be able to help people. It was her childhood family physician who originally molded her desire to work in the healthcare industry. Her mother, who was a single mom of two, struggled financially. Time and time again, Annie would witness the consistent compassion their family was given by their family doctor.
Married to her high school sweetheart at the age of 18, they found themselves blessed with their first child at 19, just shortly after her husband joined the military. The road leading her to open her practice in Georgetown, Texas was a long and winding one! Her God-gifted tenacity and ambition aided her in an arduous, laborsome journey of pursuing her college education while being a young mother.
In addition to her Doctorate of Chiropractic, Dr. Annie Wood also holds three Bachelors of Science degrees. After completing pre-med school and receiving her Bachelor of Science with a strong focus in chemistry from UMHB, she went on to attain two Bachelor of Science degrees in Anatomy and Health and Wellness from Parker University. As a result of her strong passion to help special children with sensory processing disorders, such as Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome and ADHD, she has also furthered her education in functional neurology and childhood development disorders through the Carrick Institute of Neurology to better serve her patients.
Dr. Wood was no stranger to chiropractic, as she has been treated by chiropractors all of her life. She has experienced the healing benefits of chiropractic firsthand and believes that ALL individuals should have access to this powerful form of healthcare. Because of this belief, she is highly involved in volunteer work. She frequently serves in Haiti alongside the nonprofit organization, Mission Life International, to help impoverished individuals find freedom from chronic pain and ailments. Additionally, she has a huge heart for serving the local veteran community, as well as serving young mothers through a nonprofit organization called Young Lives.
When she is not in the office treating her patients, she is investing time with her wonderful husband and children. She is diligently invested in her children’s extracurricular activities and has a huge love for quality time, especially when that quality time involves dance parties and game nights!

How We Help Our Patients

At 100% Chiropractic in Lakewood, we believe it means giving your body the opportunity to function optimally, as pain-free as possible. With all systems go, you’re able to work, ski, hike, play with your kids, enjoy a baseball game, and do anything else you love to do. Optimal functioning starts with a healthy spine.

100% Chiropractic in Belmar-Lakewood, CO is committed to you and your family. A healthy spine starts with routine wellness visits to help prevent pain and symptoms before they begin. However, various life events and conditions can have you feeling less than 100%. We help our patients find relief from these conditions and more:

  • Migraines and other headaches
  • Back and neck pain
  • Joint pain
  • Allergies
  • Asthma
  • Prenatal discomfort
  • Gastrointestinal issues
  • Insomnia

At our Lakewood/Belmar chiropractic office, we offer a wide range of expertise to provide you and your family with optimal care and help with any pain you are experiencing. To best serve you, we offer a variety of specific services to meet your needs:

  • Corrective Care: Subluxations as a result of accidents, patterns of moving, or too much sitting can leave the spine in a less-than-ideal alignment and can cause a lot of pain. Our mission is to gently restore the spine’s natural curves using X-Rays to help us monitor your progress so we can offer specific, efficient care.
  • Prenatal Care: Pregnancy introduces new demands on the spine, often resulting in discomfort throughout the body. Chiropractic care can help keep the spine healthy throughout your pregnancy while decreasing discomfort and helping you prepare for labor.
  • Pediatric Care: During birth, extreme forces may be applied to the baby’s spine, and it is during this process that babies often experience their first spinal subluxations. Babies typically respond quickly to chiropractic treatment, since they haven’t had years of habits ingraining specific patterns into their bodies.
  • Massage Therapy: Chiropractic and massage are completely different therapies, but they go hand-in-hand. A good massage can help relax the muscles that hold the body in specific patterns; massages also promote good circulation and the healing of damaged tissue.

Why 100% Chiropractic?
