Your Chiropractor in Kingwood, TX
Dr. Lyndsay Ritchley, D.C.
Dr. Lyndsay Ritchley is living her dream as a chiropractor. Chiropractic is actually a second career for Dr. Ritchley, who worked as a radiologic and CT technologist for years after receiving her associate of science degree from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, in 2001.
“I worked for chiropractors in high school and I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a chiropractor, but it was not a feasible option as my first career,” Dr. Ritchley says. “I was a radiologic technologist and CT tech at a VA hospital and part time for 2 other hospitals for seven years. Then as my job became more monotonous and I had advanced as far as I could go without moving into management, I knew I didn’t want to give up patient contact while a calling to do more resonated within me .” So, she says, she took a cue from her grandmother, who had recently passed away. “We were going through all of her things and I saw all of the amazing things she did throughout her life; she was mayor of her city, she was a city commissioner, she started a Girl Scouts council in her community when there wasn’t one, and she was always reading, constantly educating herself, she had a stack of books waiting for her at the library every week for a long as I could remember” Dr. Ritchley recalls. “Looking at all her accomplishments made me aware of the wonderful legacy she had built as a strong woman, and my mother had followed in her footsteps setting an example for my sister and I to be strong independent women as well. I felt even though I had a stable job and income with wonderful benefits, I was not living up to my full potential. I have a lot of medical doctors in my family and my mom is a nurse practitioner so I was always around medical stories and then worked in hospitals myself, so I knew I wanted to be a doctor. I was also tired of seeing people in pain, at end of life being tortured by imaging procedures, I knew I wanted to be a chiropractor, to use my hands to give people a better quality of life.’” “That’s when I said to myself, ‘It’s time to fulfill your potential and follow your dreams and continue this legacy for yourself and your own daughter”.
Dr. Ritchley went back to school and received her BS in human biology and doctorate of chiropractic at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City in 2013.
“The best thing about being in the chiropractic field is being able to see the results of my treatment and giving immediate relief to patients that come in with pain,” Dr. Ritchley states, “I love being able to help people feel better physically, which also helps them to feel better mentally. When someone has debilitating pain from headaches, or musculoskeletal pain, it inhibits their functionality in many ways. Being able to uplift someone and give them hope gives me a lot of personal satisfaction.”
In her spare time, Dr. Ritchley loves to be outdoors, she has a passion for cooking that she inherited from both of her grandmothers, and enjoys working out. Her favorite thing to do however, is travel and spend quality time with her husband, David, and her kids. One of the proud moments in Dr. Ritchleys’ life took place after she became a DC. “The coolest thing I ever did was scraping together every penny I had after I graduated from chiropractic school to take my kids on a Disney cruise,” she says. “My kids went through a lot while I was in school and I wanted to thank them for being the best kids a mom could ask for”. They had a wonderful trip and her children were able to visit three countries in eight days and she has high hopes for more adventures with her family in the near future!
Dr. Grecia Rojas, D.C.
Dr. Grecia, D.C. is from Laredo, Tx. She first fell in love with helping her community and the chiropractic profession as president of her premedical society at Texas State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology and began her chiropractic training at Texas Chiropractic College shortly after. She shadowed different fields of the medical profession and realized she was witnessing more “sick care” rather than “health care.
Dr. Grecia completed her preceptorship at Elite Spine and Health Center where she cared for patients by taking a “whole-body approach” to care by not only getting rid of pain but improving range of motion, increasing flexibility, and enhancing quality of life with nutrition.
As a new graduate, Dr. Grecia learned the most current and evidence-based chiropractic care.
A couple of years ago she found out she had a rare form of cancer called Liposarcoma which after undergoing radiation therapy is treating and avoiding using chiropractic care and lifestyle changes. When Dr. Grecia is not in the office she enjoys weightlifting, reading, traveling, and walking her pup.
How We Help Our Patients
Are you looking for a chiropractor in Kingwood you can trust with your health and body? 100% Chiropractic in Kingwood provides chiropractic care for people of all ages—from infants to seniors. We believe in overall natural wellness care and long-term chiropractic corrective care to prevent the bigger aches, pains, and sicknesses. We also see time and time again how chiropractic care helps people improve their quality of life by reducing and even eliminating pain and improving range of motion, which is essentially important after an accident or sports injury prompts chiropractic care. Some of the conditions chiropractic helps with are:
- Headaches and Migraines
- Neck Pain
- Back Pain
- Family Wellness
- Sports Injuries
- Car Accidents
- Prenatal Care
If you have been just coping with pain or have been meaning to find a Kingwood chiropractor for wellness purposes, at 100% Chiropractic, we are your people. We treat each patient as an individual, finding out how we can serve each one and get their bodies to 100%. Several of our focuses are:
- Wellness Care for the Family: We treat anyone, no matter what age. From a newborn infant to a senior citizen, each person can benefit from the stimulation of the nervous system and proper alignment that adjustments provide. Adjustments are tailored to each patient and their comfort level. Obviously, an adjustment on a newborn doesn’t look like an adjustment on someone training for a triathlon.
- Corrective Chiropractic Care: Getting adjusted a few times can definitely help with immediate pain and subluxations, but to correctly heal the body so that long term pain does not return and your body is functioning at 100% we specialize in corrective chiropractic care. Corrective care is a process that resets the spine to its correct position on an incremental basis as opposed to waiting until you have a major injury or daily thoughts, traumas, and toxins set in too much.
- Accident and Sports Injury Chiropractic: Have you been in a car accident, had a rough fall, or sustained a sports injury? There can be serious repercussions to the body if your body heals from an accident without being in the proper alignment first. After experiencing an accident or a sports injury chiropractor services are essential as you might deal with pain daily if you don’t reinforce proper alignment through adjustments while healing.
- Massage Therapy: Massage therapy and chiropractic care go hand-in-hand at this Kingwood chiropractic clinic. If our chiropractors think your treatment could be enhanced by massage therapy, we will suggest you see one of our therapists to aid your healing.
