Your Chiropractor in Billings, Montana
Dr. Shayla Swenson
Dr. Shayla Swenson is originally from Miles City, MT. She graduated from The University of Mary in Bismarck, ND in 2010. There she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training with minors in Biology and Chemistry. For the following 5 years she worked with athletes as a certified athletic trainer in North Dakota holding positions as the head athletic trainer for Bismarck State College, United Tribes Technical College, and later Dickinson High School. Dr. Shayla witnessed first hand the profound impact that chiropractic had on her athletes. She could not ignore the fact that injured athletes would heal faster and more completely if they were utilizing chiropractic care. In 2015, Dr. Shayla went on to further her career at Life University in Marietta, GA where she completed her Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2018. While learning about the body, Dr. Shayla began receiving chiropractic care for herself and she was amazed to find that her debilitating depression and anxiety began to resolve as her spine, body, and mind started to heal. Dr. Shayla is now dedicated to sharing her understanding of health and wellness with everyone by educating her patients and affecting their nervous systems through specific and effective chiropractic care.
Dr. Richard Samoska | Associate Chiropractor
Hi, my name is Richard Samoska. I appreciate being a chiropractor because I experience miracles with my patients every day! For close to two decades I have either had my own business or I have associated with other chiropractors around the U.S. Both opportunities have been fun and challenging in respect to teaching, leading, and guiding others in their quest of either being out of pain or wanting to live their life without limits. You see, the chiropractic adjustment removes interference from the nerve system so that we humans can function at 100% of our potential all of the time, every time.
I am grateful to work with 100% Chiropractic Billings mainly because I like to live life at one hundred percent! Also, being from the east coast where it is only hilly, I like the openness of ‘big sky” country. I am tall, so the bigger the sky the better! Some of my favorite things are the color yellow, mountain biking, Thai food, and dry, quick and witty comedy. If you have other questions feel free to ask.
I am excited to meet more of the community and help show them how to live life at 100%.
How We Help Our Patients
Are you looking for a chiropractor in Billings you can trust with your health and body? 100% Chiropractic in Billings provides chiropractic care for people of all ages—from infants to seniors. We believe in overall natural wellness care and long term chiropractic corrective care to prevent the bigger aches, pains, and sicknesses. We also see time and time again how chiropractic care helps people improve their quality of life by reducing and even eliminating pain and improving range of motion, which is essentially important after an accident or sports injury prompts chiropractic care. Some of the conditions chiropractic helps with are:
- Headaches and Migraines
- Neck Pain
- Back Pain
- Family Wellness
- Sports Injuries
- Car Accidents
- Prenatal Care
If you have been just coping with pain or have been meaning to find a Billings chiropractor for wellness purposes, at 100% Chiropractic, we are your people. We treat each patient as an individual, finding out how we can serve each one and get their bodies to 100%. Several of our focuses are:
- Wellness Care for the Family: We treat anyone, no matter what age. From a newborn infant to a senior citizen, each person can benefit from the stimulation of the nervous system and proper alignment that adjustments provide. Adjustments are tailored to each patient and their comfort level. Obviously, an adjustment on a newborn doesn’t look like an adjustment on someone training for a triathlon.
- Corrective Chiropractic Care: Getting adjusted a few times can definitely help with immediate pain and subluxations, but to correctly heal the body so that long term pain does not return and your body is functioning at 100% we specialize in corrective chiropractic care. Corrective care is a process that resets the spine to its correct position on an incremental basis as opposed to waiting until you have a major injury or daily thoughts, traumas, and toxins set in too much.
- Accident and Sports Injury Chiropractic: Have you been in a car accident, had a rough fall, or sustained a sports injury? There can be serious repercussions to the body if your body heals from an accident without being in the proper alignment first. After experiencing an accident or a sports injury chiropractor services are essential as you might deal with pain daily if you don’t reinforce proper alignment through adjustments while healing.
- Massage Therapy: Massage therapy and chiropractic care go hand-in-hand at this Billings chiropractic clinic. If our chiropractors think your treatment could be enhanced by massage therapy, we will suggest you see one of our therapists to aid your healing.
Why 100% Chiropractic?
At 100% Chiropractic we want to make a change in our Billings community. We strive to see our community members and patients feeling 100%. Our motto is “100% Integrity, 100% Commitment, 100% Chiropractic.” We suggest the care you need to heal and maintain a healthy lifestyle depending on the cause of your pain, your goals for activity, and from reviewing x-rays of your spine if necessary. Our chiropractors are dedicated to our patients and highly trained. Seeing people heal and maintain a healthy lifestyle is the biggest motivator here.
We know there are other chiropractors in Billings, and we are honored each time someone new chooses to walk into our office and trust their health to our chiropractors. Come see us at our Billings 100% Chiropractic office, and we will get you moving and living life at 100%.
Jordan | Chiropractic Assistant & Office Manager
Hey everyone my name is Jordan! I am a chiropractic assistant/office manager here at 100% Billings. I’ve spent my entire life in Laurel, MT, and graduated as a Locomotive in 2016. During that same year, I attended Boise State University in hopes of separating myself from the small town of 8,000 I grew up in. After 4 rigorous years of school, I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science in the Spring of 2020.
My entire life I’ve spent following sports and having a passion for being active. Whether I was on the lake wake surfing with my family or hunting for that trophy animal in the fall, I was always outside enjoying the things Montana and Idaho had to offer. Although I do enjoy being outside, you can also find me playing Call of Duty with the boys and working on my hand-eye coordination in the process, because life needs balance.
Before starting here at 100% I was an intern at another Chiropractic office in Boise, ID which is when I fell in love with the idea of Chiropractic care. I’ve dedicated my life to helping those around me and being someone that others can rely on! My joy and energy are the strongest traits that I possess and I utilize them to maximize the lives of people in our Chiropractic office. I’m a big believer that happiness heals, and if I can create any form of it I will do it. I hope all of you find your happiness throughout your journey of healing and remember, life is great at 100%.
Melanie | Chiropractic Assistant & Office Manager
Hello everyone my name is Melanie, but here at 100% Billings I go by Melle. I grew up in Montana and studied Dance and Theatre in Las Vegas, Nevada. Throughout my career, I found myself in the hit movie “Lone Tiger” directed by Warren Stevens, while also designing homes after I acquired my Associate’s degree in Design.
Life hasn’t always been easy for me but I have been fortunate to have a strong mindset and made the most I can of it! Raising 7 children of my own, and giving the shirt off my back to those who may not even deserve it has been the hardest and most rewarding lesson I’ve learned. I’ve created a foundation for my family to take the road less traveled in life, to take an alternative route that places them in a position to be successful at such a young age.
During my interview, Dr. Shayla asked me where I saw myself in five years… and my answer was simple––“owning this place”. My drive, passion, empathy, and charisma have allowed me to rise to the top, even when I was at rock bottom. In 2009 I experienced a traumatic brain injury from a car accident that landed me in the hospital. My life was completely altered and I was alone, scared, and unsure of what the future would hold for me. Eleven years later now, I am able to walk, play with my kids, and enjoy every aspect that life has to offer for me. I am pleased to assist each and every one of you every day, because you all remind me of how great it truly is, to be alive!!
